We’ve got a new face on the FMG Team to introduce you to — Alyson Devine of North Carolina! She’s got a voice like sweet tea and fresh, creative vibes to share.
We had several talented applicants for this job posting from all over the country. Interestingly enough, each of them had some personal connection to a member of our team. THE POWER OF SOCIAL MEDIA IS AMAZING!
We unanimously decided that Alyson was the best fit for Focus. She is extremely personable, and willing to explore new, out-of-the-box ideas with clients. She has developed logos and websites on her own for several years.
As a bonus, she also brings a unique livestock experience of her own to the table, especially on the East Coast AND in the small ruminants field. We’re excited to start branching our business to more of the country and other species!
ALYSON DEVINE
Hi there, I’m Alyson! I grew up in eastern North Carolina where my involvement in the livestock industry started at just 4 years old. If I wasn’t at a lamb or cattle show, I was at a livestock judging contest. My Dad and I raised club lambs and our favorite past time was traveling the country to sales and shows. I knew I wanted to do more in our industry, so I moved west for college to compete on both Butler Community and Oklahoma State’s Livestock Judging teams. At OSU is where I fell in love with graphic design, photography, and agricultural marketing.
After college, I worked in Washington, D.C. but my love for rural life brought me back home to North Carolina. Now I’m married to my best friend, Tom Devine, and we operate our own farm with our kids Barrett and Sallee. We run about 75 head of crossbred ewes and grow mums and hanging baskets in our greenhouse. If we aren’t at the farm, you can usually find us coaching our 4-H livestock judging team, fishing, or helping others at livestock shows until our children are old enough to show themselves.
Joining the Focus team is the highlight of my career. It is truly a blessing to be able to put my passion to work in a career. I’ve loved the many opportunities I’ve had in agriculture and am excited to expand my work in the industry I love.

Alyson will officially begin her new position here with us at Focus Marketing Group on June 15th. She will be checking her email intermittently as she transitions into her Web Division Manager Position.
The Summer of 2021 will be full of changes for the FMG Crew. Alyson joins both Morgan and Alexis as the newest members of our team, and with a little bit of training, we will be ready for Fall Sale Season! We have a talented crew of livestock photographers, graphic designers, website + social media people located across the country, ready to help you take your operation to the next level.
