Today on the blog, we want to share about one of our sheep customers – Miller Hampshires of Seagraves, Texas. The operation includes parents Jim and April, their son Dustin and wife Jessica as well as their son Derick and his wife Ashley.
This family is known for producing some of the best sheep in the nation. Their winners’ list includes the Grand Champion Lamb at Ft. Worth, Houston and San Antonio in 2012 – the coveted Triple Crown. They’ve been producing this caliber of quality lambs since the 1970s.

While they only offer their wethers via private treaty, Miller Hampshires hosts two production sales yearly on Willoughby Sales. We at Focus Marketing Group are honored and privileged to help this outstanding family put on their famous online sales by doing the videos each year.
“We feel like the videos done by Focus give people a much better idea of what we offer in our sales. We try to give our buyers every opportunity to see the livestock’s strengths and weaknesses and the videos provided by Focus give us that ability,” Derick told us. “The tremendous success of our online sales is due in large part to our satisfied customer base who return year after year and rely on these videos to make their choices.”
The family was also featured in a recent article in The Showbox magazine.
?We have really been impressed with the online sales,? Derick said in the article. ?While we will continue selling our show wethers private treaty from the home place, we have full intentions of continuing to use online sales to offer our genetics to others.?

If you didn’t get a buck or ewe purchased in their first online sale last weekend, don’t worry! The family will be having their second sale May 20 – 21st on Willoughby Sales. This sale will be just as good as the first, and we’re happy to provide the videos for that sale just in case.
