We’ve been in full on prep mode for this event all summer, and boy are we excited to head to Huron, South Dakota for the 2022 South Dakota Summer Spotlight – Livestock Show!
Since 2017, we have been the official photographers of the event and it’s a pleasure! The Spotlight is unique to us, because it is 4 species — goats, beef cattle, sheep and hogs.

Robin
Hi Everyone! I’m Robin Kleine, and if you’ve followed Focus Marketing Group at all over the past decade, you’ve seen me at the backdrop. I grew up in Indiana, went to college at K-State, and now live in Sioux Falls, SD. Outside of work, the kitchen is my happy place and I’m known for keeping our crew fed and hydrated at shows and on the road. The SD Summer Spotlight is one of my most treasured events and I can’t wait to see my favorite people and watch your families/crew do big things!
Alexis
Hey there! My name is Alexis, I am from all over but currently live in Kansas. When I am not in the picture pen or at a show with FMG, I am at home with my fiance starting colts and training rope horses. The FMG crew is like my second family, so I know anytime we are all together it is bound to a great time. I’m excited to see all of the exhibitors and their stock at this year’s Spotlight! My name is Calah Covey and I am from Hamill, SD where I grew up showing and raising primarily Hereford cattle with my family. I am a Customer Success Specialist at Performance Livestock Analytics where I help producers use our technology to improve their operation. Photography is my side gig and something that has become a huge part of my life. I love working with Focus Marketing Group and getting to capture special moments behind my lens!
Tia
Hi, I’m Tia Schram from Bruderheim, AB, Canada, where my family owns and operates North Hill Simmentals. I am serving as the 2022 Focus Marketing Group Summer Intern. I have an undergraduate degree in business, with a marketing emphasis and hope to pursue a master’s degree in the agriculture sector. You can usually find me behind a camera, shooting livestock or lifestyle events. I look forward to connecting with many of you at the Spotlight Show.
Lauren
I’m Lauren Weishaar from Lemmon, South Dakota. I grew up on a farm and ranch where we grows a variety of crops and run registered and commercial Hereford cattle. Throughout my childhood, I was active in 4-H where she showed cattle and sheep. I am currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Communications at South Dakota State University, with minors in Advertising, Marketing and Animal Science. Upon completion of my degree, I hope to advocate for the livestock industry through photography and digital media content.
Magen
Hello! My name is Magen Tol and I am a recent high school graduate who will be attending South Dakota State University this upcoming fall to major in agricultural communications. Growing up on a small farm outside of Canby, Minnesota, I have been involved in the livestock industry since a young age. I have shown cattle at the county, state, and national level while also holding leadership roles within several associations and organizations. I currently run my own business called Photos By Magen. I have also worked with Pearls Pics Photography and Empire Imagery to picture some of my favorite junior shows across the country. I look forward to capturing more memories for all the junior exhibitors at the 2022 SD Summer Spotlight!
